Ölmalerei
Die Ölmalerei ist eine seit dem 19. und 20. Jahrhundert bekannte Maltechnik. Dennoch reicht diese Technik bis ins späte Mittelalter zurück, wo sie allmählich die Tempora ablöste, die aus einer Mischung von Eigelb, Eiweiß und farbigen Pigmenten bestand.
Ihre Konsistenz war der Ölmalerei recht ähnlich, obwohl diese später aus praktischen Gründen bevorzugt wurde.
Die Ölmalerei wird wegen ihrer Noblesse, ihres Reichtums, ihres Glanzes und ihrer Geschmeidigkeit, die besonders angenehm für den Maler ist, geschätzt.
