Kate Happ is an emerging, self-taught, Munich-based artist, who's passion is to explore the facets of art in every form of it. Experimenting with different techniques in her romantically tinged artworks she celebrates the beauty of nature and human body. She combines realism with fantasy, mythical motives and social criticism creating a fascinating variety of interpretations. Her excitement for capturing feelings and lights can be found in all her artworks, no matter which techniques used: digital art, charcoal, pastels, fluid ink, oil or acrylic paint. Kate Happ was born in the Urals and moved to Munich in 2012. Painting has been her passion since childhood, but not the only one. Kate is currently managing an enterprise, also working as a tutor, raising a child, a snake and a cat and maintaining hobbies like dancing, constructing a model railway and sewing.
